The Malaysian Society of Lifestyle Medicine(MSLM) was invited to showcase the “Lifestyle Medicine For  Remission Of Type 2 Diabetes” that was developed for Malaysia at the Civil 20 (C20) Integrative Holistic Health Summit in Faridabad from then 7^th to the 9^th of April,  2023. MSLM was represented by our Founder and President Dr Sivaneswaran Poobalasingam.

C20 is one of the official Engagement Groups of the G20 that provides a platform for Civil Society Organizations (CSO) around the world to voice the people’s aspirations to the world leaders in G20. Under the Indian Presidency of the G20 this year, the Civil 20 is committed to advocate evidence- based policy recommendations with focus on education, health, environment, technology and volunteering.

The Summit was officiated by  Shri Manohar Lal, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana. Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General Of Health WHO addressed the Summit virtually drawing attention to the importance of primary healthcare and the challenges to reach the Sustainable Development Goal (SDGs) health target.
